Learning to cook

November 28th, 2006 at 03:19 pm

My grandpa went to China this morning and he's coming back in six months. I decided to start cooking food for my brother and sister. I would love to set up a budget for our home food and since we mostly eat rice most of the time. Rice is already included so it's free so all I need to do is to find food to eat with it. From now I'm going to try to learn the art of cooking! x) No need to wait for the food to arrive at our door step.

Cooking can be fun!! I started about 1.5 years ago when I was 23. So no worries!!! I'm sure you'll be better at it than I am. Stir-fries are super easy!

Cooking for yourself is the frugal skill you can develop. Its amazing what you can do for 2-3$ that a restaurant will charge 8-12$. Its all bucks in your pocket, and its a portable, portable skill.
