Yesterday, I remember I save on lunch on Friday and I forgot to put 4$ in my challenge money. I cleaned my clothes (1$) and I didn't spend any money (1$).

Today, I woke up early to study math... Add 2$. I did not spend any money today (1$) and I finish all my homework for the week except the thesis but it's in two weeks that I have to hand in so I got time!! 2$ add...

Geezz... I spend Friday,Saturday and Sunday on my homeworks especially on maths... I hope I'll get a good mark on my Tuesday's exam. I've been sick since yesterday. It's kind of odd... I didn't have the cold yesterday morning but around 4pm, I started feeling a little dizzy and I'm always sneezing. *sigh*

I did not spend a dime today: 1$ add to my challenge money!

I didn't went shopping today for Tuesday photoshoot, I decided that I'm going to wear a nice shirt that I haven't wear once at school. I'm going to put 2$ in my challenge. My friend made me realise that I'm only going to wear the clothes that I bought for once in a lifetime and that it's a waste of money. He's totally right! I already got my prom dress and I'm not 100% that I'm going to wear it again after prom. So yeah... I just saved 3$ today.

On the 19th, I received 10$ as Chinese New Year's money from another of my aunt. So that makes 1019$

On the 20th, I add 2$ because I exercise . Woke up early 2$, didn't spend a dime (1$), finish homework (2$) and I save on lunch (4$). Total : 1030$

On the 21st, I advoid buying snacks because I was hungry (2$) and I walk home from school instead of taking the bus (2$) and I save on lunch (4$). That makes 1038$

Today, I received my economy exam and I got a 84%... That's the lowest of my exam so far. >.

I finished my homework today. 2$ add to the challenge money. That makes 1020$ now!

I woke up early (2$), I bought my lunch to school (4$), I exercise (2$), I did not spend a dime today (1$)... I guess that's about it.

I went to get my report card at the secretary today at lunch time. I borrowed 0.50$ to get two of my copies. I passed everything so far except French (59%) and I got a 96% in English Billingual!! I was so shocked!! No wonder I got a certificat of improvement in English!!

My French teacher was disappointed in me because I was reading my book in class... I finished my book in the morning but I need to read a chapter that I have skipped. She knows that I'm weak in French but she shouldn't lose faith in me! Arg... >.

I woke up early today (2$) and I bought my lunch (4$). I got a good grade in English (2$) I saved 8$ for now... Let's see if I'll add more up later on.

I went to the restaurant tonight with my family and another of my cousin's family. We ate and we were playing the lottery. We won a set of bath cream. We gave it to our mom since none of us are very fond of spa product. We went there at 8pm and we had to leave because brother got to study for tomorrow exam so we left at 10:40 pm. Before we left, my cousin and I went dancing with other people. We had fun!

I got my first thousand today!! Yes!

Got 20$ from my mother and father and a 5$ from my ex-uncle. I did not spend today (1$) and I finish all my homework (2$). That makes 28$ earned today!!

I worked yesterday 3 to 11pm. I was suppose to finish at 9pm but I switch with another girl because she's fed up that she has to finish late.

I was so happy to see an old collegue of mine from my old job at the restaurant, he too has quit around the beginning of December because the boss has insulted him and he has enought of working there. Now he's working as a tele-marketing and he's making less money than before but he's quite content although he's going to return to work at another restaurant as a waiter anytime soon.

Around 10 pm, I saw another old collegue of mine who still works there as a counter staff. Well I was happy but not happy, I don't know if he notices it but he looks quite sad too. I don't know really. We didn't really talk just a hi and he orders his drinks with his girlfriend and left. I was kinda busy too so I didn't have the chance to chat.

It was still nice to see both of them though. I'm glad I quit my old job or else I would've been miserable there longer. Working at Tim Hortons is not bad at all, I was fooling around with my collegue yesterday at work by joking around with him and slapping his butt. Haha

I looked at my notebook and I forgot to write it here that I add 5$... 4$ because I save my lunch and 1$ because I did some cleaning on that day... Voila!

On the 15th, that makes 919$ and 16th, that makes 969$. Yesterday the 17th, I quit my habit of procrastinating to clean up my balcony... Montreal has been snowing a lot lately. Oh yeah and I did not spend a time yesterday.

I've been spending quite a lot yesterday (38.21$) because I went shopping for my prom dress with my little sister. My biggest purchase that day was the tickets... It was 11.75$ for my metro tickets(I lost my student card so I have to pay regular), 6.25$ for my little sister and 8.60$ for our bus tickets. That makes 26.60$ already.

Luckily, I was at the right place to start. It was on a street full of stores on two sides of the road like a... mall but outdoor. There's many stores full of dresses for prom and wedding, I was so amazed to see so many beautiful dresses but unfortunatly, they were either not my style or too expensive... Can you believe it? A dress for prom cost about 150$!! That's way too much for a dress for one occasion in my opinion and most of these beautiful dress are going to be wore once.

I managed to find a beautiful blue dress with sparkles around it for 90 + tax... So total is 102.56$! I'm happy =D At first, I was a little relucted to buy it because there're girls who already bought it and I don't really like to see someone have the same dress as me in my prom and the sale person doesn't help me much but if ever that happens, I won't get mad hehe... We'll have different accessories to match with our dress right? =P

As for who will pay for my dress, my dad is going to pay for it and I'm going to pay for the rest. I made a deal with him but he doesn't want to spend a dime on my prom night and I sure wouldn't manage it by my own work money since I only have around 100$ a month now... I'm only working 6 hours a week. My dad is really cheap, he promised me three years ago that he'll pay for everything and now, I'm just asking him to pay for a few things and I pay for the rest and he doesn't want to. I hate my dad sometimes... >=/

Anyways, I'm going to try to take a picture of my dress on someone's camera to show you guys, I try loading pictures of my dog Strawberry but for some reasons, dad's camera doesn't accept it. @.@"...

I just received 50$ from my aunt today for Sunday New Year's that come. I'll put it on my challenge money.

My aunt called me to tell me that mom going to give us her red enveloppe... And she tried to convince me to quit my job so I could concentrate on my studies and she wants me to go to back to Chinese school. I think I'll stay with my job. She did mention that my parents and her will pay for anything that I wish to do in the future but that's not the case... I don't like people paying for me. After all... I manage to get good marks while I work but I don't think I want to go back to Chinese school yet...

When I first enter high school, I was exicted to go to college. three years later, here I am with my application paper to a college of my choice... I can't believe I actually have a choice of where I want to go and I don't think I'm really ready for it... Why ?

Okay first... I completly mess up my search for my ideal college since I already have a pretty good idea of what program I want to go and what I want to study in the future. I didn't attend a single open house in all the college that I'm interested in. The first open house was last November and it was the day where I worked so I thought to myself, I'm going to the February open house. I was interested in the tourism school that offer in Montreal but I completly forgot that it was on February 4th so I missed this one too. So far, the school I have visited is Champlain, the school where I'm planning to go and Edouard-Montpetit, the school where I visited to see the different schools that offer it. If I have to choose one of the two colleges I visited, I like Champlain better because Edouard's atmosphere is boring... I feel like I'm in high school again because of the color and especially the classes there while the other one has a more calming feel. Still.. I kinda regret that I didn't visit the other schools first but I was not that interested or I'm lazy. Since they all offer almost the same programmes, I don't feel like wasting my time but it would've made a different... probably. So yeah... I guess I'm heading for Champlain, the school closest to my house. It would've save me a lot of money and I'll still get the same education, I guess.

The second thing that I messed up, I didn't do my research right... All I wanted is commerce or tourism programme. So i didn't consider the rest because they are boring to me... Although I tried modern language but there's not much things I could do with it so I choose commerce as my first choice than tourism as my second choice.

The third one... I forgot about my report card yesterday at the parents meeting. Now I can't even appy for the college of my choice without it so I have to wait with my application sheet in front of me. I have to wait a week to send it and the deadline is on March 1st before midnight. Ah great. Sometimes I don't panick about my future too much until it's too late. LOL... I was all prepared last year to study hard and everything and this year, I don't seem to care... Whenever something is close and I almost got it, I seem to not care anymore.

Anyways, I still have two weeks to send my application so I guess I'll be alright for now. I'll get my report card next week.

I'm a total organic freak... I seem to buy things that said organic... Well the food that I need of course ! I bought organic orange juice with lots of vitamins and I bought organic chocolate teddy bear cereal yesterday. It's not the greatest cereal in the world but it tastes pretty good.

I'm concentrating on environnement a lot but I doubt I am 100% environnemist. Well I still have a lot to learn!! My brother was telling me that I am a freak and I shouldn't pay too much even if it's organic because in order to survive, we need the cheapest possible good food... Hey, who was the one buying bacons and fattening cookies? Not me. Who's claiming that we should eat healthy? My brother of course... Yet, his way of doing things is the total opposite of what he said... So I'm not listening to him!

By the way, yesterday, my brother tries to convince me to split the price of a ps2 game called.. CSI or something so we could play together by saying : Christina, there's a CSI game where we find "something something... I don't pay much attention to what he said" and we could play together, so both of us pay half of the price of the game... How about that?

In my mind, his definition of his words is : Hey Christina, you pay half the price with me because I want to save my money. You won't like the game after we played it possibly, so I will be getting the game for half of the price. How about that?

My response : Naaaah... I rather spend on something else.

His response : Eum... Lalalala...

I totally nailed him. He used to suck me in by convincing me that it's a good price and we should pay half of something that he wants. I never really ask my brother to pay half half of something that I want. I remember about a year and a half ago when I was in Vancouver, I asked my brother to pay half of a Japanese series because I wanted it. Later on, I realized that it's because I don't want to pay too much for something that I want so I ask someone else to fit in the bill with me. Whenever someone asks me to pay half half of something, I remember that feeling and it saves me by making a stupid purchase just because that person doesn't want to pay full price and I'm helping him/her pay it. I'm also making sure I won't ask anyone to help me pay for my wants either. If I don't want to pay too much... Then I don't buy it or I look somewhere else for a cheaper price.

I forgot to add 8$ because I saved on lunch on Monday and Tuesday by bring my own lunch.

Today, I spent 3.75$ on lunch because I didn't have the time to make my own food. I advoid buying vegetables dipping that cost 1.15$... I was on the verge of buying it because I was in the mood to eat. So another 2$ add for today.

Today, I didn't spend a dime (1$) except I went grocery shopping with my brother to buy a few things.. All expenses are paid by my dad. Although something bothers me a little bit about my brother... (Will write about it in another blog later.) Daddy saved 10$ on a recycle water can and a few money coupons that add up to... 13.63$. In total, our grocery purchases were 17.96$

Daddy knows that he is saving money but he doesn't know that he's not actually saving money because that money he saved will be spend on other useless things.Eum... I should tell my dad later on about the power of saving from little things. But now... I'm going to take my 13.63$ round it to 14$ and put it in my challenge money. =P Saved 25$. =P

Not a lot of people in my entourage has the same dream as I am especially when it comes to their future. Many people are going into the straight path with high school to university then to the work force. I don't like that path, I feel like something is not right at all. I don't want to conform to people normes of just living a mediocore life. It may be good for them but it's not good enough for me.

Everytimes I talk to my dad about my future plans... Which I doubt he'll even remember I've talked to him about it. He said it's my choice but he suggested me to finish school, get a good job then I'll get to travel as much as I want. You know what? I don't like having a set amount of time to do whatever I like and the responsabilities that goes with it. My guess is that dad will think I'll change my mind again and he has no idea that I'm saving my money for a big trip in a few years to come.I wonder how it will turn out in two or three years? Will my dad start to panick and try to convince me that I'm making the biggest mistake of my life? Will my mom worry that I'll never go back to school and start criticising me like she always do? I could care less. I had enought of people telling me what to do and how to do it.

Speaking of people telling me what to do... My aunt was a little mad that I quit Chinese school last October. Why did I quit? 1st reason : Can't pratice Chinese in Canada... Quebec. 2nd reason : I don't have a lot of times for myself because I'm going to school 6 days/week and a day is reserve to do all my homework and study. I turned crazy because I couldn't keep up with it anymore. 3rd reason : I spent nine years in Chinese school because my parents want me to. They are doing it for my own good but I hate it. I was never motivate to learn to read Chinese in the first place and nobody can force me back into going back into that place. I'll go back when I'm motivate but for now, I don't give a damn to what people are telling me. Good or not, I don't care. I HATE READING AND WRITTING IN CHINESE. Even if it's the next super power in ten years, now I just don't care.

*sigh* It feels good to say that after so many years.

Anyways, to finish my blog.. I need a dream to keep going in life and that's traveling the world... That's what my challenge money is for. I'm starting in London with 4 000$ and the rest of my money where I'll be using it is in my mutual funds.

I woke up early today around 7:40 am to start reading my book. 2$ add to the challenge money. I'm going to stay home today and not spend any money... Probably ^.^. 1$ add if I succeed at the end of the day.

I save a lot of money this week by bringing my own lunch this week, that makes 4$ X 5 = 20$ of savings!! I'm actually saving in a new ways... Also, I try to eat a snack in my fifteen minutes of break so I won't be hungry at my second and fourth period.

Today, I wake up early (2$), I finish my homework this morning (2$), I didn't spend any money (1$), I came home instead of going shopping for my dress (2$) and I exercise today (2$). I saved 9$ today!! I saved on lunch today so it's another 4$

It's a good week to save my money but it's also a bad week because I'm having problems in math again!! I tried changing my math teacher but the principal said it'll change my whole schedule... They don't want to go through the trouble and I don't want to lose my French, English, Economie, Ecc/FPS and Spanish teachers and tried adjusting to the new teachers teaching those same courses. I'm going to try to hire a tutor... I hope it won't charge too much per hour.

It's quite interesting how many people see me with different type of innocents.

My friend said that I don't think nor talk about sex, drugs or any other typical teens talk and I'm always happy. My teacher said about the same thing, he said that I don't care about the stupid things. My friend from Switzerland said I don't know what goes around in this world.

I gave the letter that my friend from Swiss sent me a year ago to my teacher so that he could analyse what he's saying and things. The result? Swiss friend is very smart, likes philosophies and intellectuel things and he likes talking to me because I'm smart... Eum... Smart sounds like a new word to me. Although, teacher said that he said Swiss friend is very confident and has a big ego but his English is not good. What stuck me the most is that my friend thinks I'm smart... I thought he was trying to make me feel inferior to him but I never thought he considers me smart... No wonder he doesn't want to lose our friendship... But he needs to work on his arrogant side.

What do you guys think of me so far? What kind of innocent I am?

I didn't buy lunch today (4$), I exercise (2$), I avoided buying a rose again since it's the last day (2$)and I went to buy some stuff at "Bureau EN GROS", bought yellow markers for school (I always need to buy a new one every two or three months) and I saved 1$ because it was on sales for 0.29 cents for two markers and I bought three boxes (6 markers).

I exercise today... Another 2$. I'm going to do a little cleaning in my room, so I'm going to add 1$ later on. If I finish my homework before 11pm, I'm going to add 2$.

My prom is at the month of June and I still haven't decide on my dress yet. I'm currently dreaming about my dress by looking at the magazines and I found a lots of gorgeous dress... Makes me want to buy those magazines... Good thing my frugal side prevented me from buying it. I saw a very red gorgeous dress !

I'm going to look for a less expensive version of this this friday. I hope that I can wear the dress on other occasions than prom too... I don't like shreding a lot of money for a dress that I'll only wear once. ^.^'

My mom always makes pizza for breakfast at home along with my little sister. I went downstairs to open the fridge in the basement to see if there's any egos left or anything and I saw around 5 boxes of 20 pizzas inside. What the...? I see my mom doesn't buy breakfast that often, she eats whatever she could find that's quick and easy to make and that's pizza. Those little miniature pizza. I tried buying healthy breakfast but she wouldn't eat it, she still eats pizza in the microwave.

We told her that pizza is not healthy and it's not even for breakfast in the first place, she doesn't care. Hey, I don't know what will happend to her health but she's into the fast life. Plus, she's a workaholic addict. My dad proposes to our family to go to Disney's World this March break and my mom was like : There's nothing to do there! I'm staying home. You guys go. I think there's a fine line between loving money and being addicted to money. My mom is addicted to money, she canceled many trips just so she can work. We've seen her turning crazy a few times... Like the first week when Strawberry was here, she was critisizing like crazy that the dog did this and that to the house, that we should give back to the old owner and who cares if she gets killed for no reason. Oh yeah, on that same day, she was pissed at the dog and our arguments with her that she went to my aunt house without telling us. She was that pissed. My brother and I said that she's going crazy. She is.

I wonder when will it stop.
