On Saturday, I went to the library to start on my project and I went to Wal-Mart to buy lotions and pencils, the total was around 25$. The receipt is downstair and I'm too lazy to go downstairt ^.^". I didn't do much that day except working at 3 to 11 pm. The tips were very good on that day too. I got 25.75$ as tip. A first in all that months that I was working there!.

On Sunday, I resisted on buying ice cream (2$), I exercised (2$), I didn't spend anything (1$). My total tips for this weekend is 49$!! So I'm going to add 19$ on my challenge money.

Today, I spent 4.50$ on lunch because there's nothing to eat at home. I walk home from school instead of taking the bus (2$) and I avoid buying food at my workplace on my way home (2$).

I keep looking at my bank account and I was wondering where my chequing money went. My saving account is growing but my chequing money is going in the 200-300 $ range. Whenever I get my paycheck and it turns into ~500$, after a few days, it goes back to the initial amount that I had before. So I checked at my monthly chequing history and I noticed that most of my money goes into the saving account. @.@ I guess I saved more than I spend.

By looking at my monthly spending, I spend approximatly 150$/month and I put more than 10% of my paycheck in a month or biweekly. All the money that I have currently goes to the challenge money...

I feel rich ^.^!

My prom is on June 22nd and I'm not 100% sure if I can go. The written production and the reading comprehension in French will decide my faith. I need a little push to get myself into studying again like the beginning of the year... So far, I've finished my math homework for tomorrow and my economie exam in advance. I'm planning to finish my French book this week so I will have more time read my 24 pages of text for my writting production next Thursday.

I had bought the dress already and I need other things to match with it. I'm planning to go buy them with two of my friends next week. I already know who I will sit with at prom and... I have no prom date but hopefully, I might ask a guy that I kinda like to go with me or with my 22 years old friend.. @.@" Well I don't know yet.

Today, I didn't spend any money today (1$)and I brought my lunch (4$).

I'm getting lazy in my studies. I looked at my report card this week and so far it looks okay. The only mark that I went down is economy and French reading comprehension... Darn. I'm still not passing in French with a 58% but hopefully, my writting production will turn my mark into a passing mark at the 4th term. I need to pass my writting production next Thursday but I'm kinda nervous... I'm tired and I don't feel like doing anything. Two more months left Christina!! You can do it!

Today I woke up early to run outside (2$+2$ = 4$), I brought my lunch to school (4$) and I didn't spend any money (1$).

I haven't been blogging for awhile I noticed. Well I'm quite busy these days with school so I'm not going to have time to write anything everyday like I use to.

On Friday, I went to Chinatown to buy my skin care treatment that I haven't bought since December. My acne has gotten worst and it's sign that I'm going to need the medication now. I spent 30$ and I noticed that it's 10$ less than last year. I was so happy! I saved 10$ and I'm going to put it on my challenge money. I also went to Bestbuy to check out the camera I have been suggested... I'm still having problem finding one that I like... I couldn't try it because I can't do whatever I want with the cameras since they are attach to a cord. I came back home around 11 pm and I bought a moka along the way at my work place and I spent 1$... Needless to say, I couldn't sleep at night. xP I learned my lesson.

On Saturday, it's the same old same old. I did my math homework in the morning and I went to work. I didn't spend anything on that day (1$).

On Sunday, I ran outside in the morning (2$) and I went to the library to meet my team mates for the French project at lunch time. I went to work at 3 pm and work till 11 pm. My tip for this weekend is 47$!! I made 17$ more than usual. I didn't spend any money either 1$. Oh yeah, I missed the special charity shopping event today in Montreal... I didn't have the time or I didn't feel like going like I used to... Too busy I guess but I saved 5$ on admission. Oh yeah, I avoided buying ice cream at the end of my shift (2$).

On Monday : I didn't spend any money (1$). Someone repay me back 1$, I avoid buying an ice cream again (2$) and I brought my lunch to school (4$).

Today : I avoid buying ice cream today... I couldn't help it... Ice cream shop is everywhere I tell you!! They are so addicting and yummy T.T. 2$ add to my challenge.

First of all before I start talking about my day and my challenge money. I would like to say... WOW!! A lot of How to... suggestions. I love reading about them but I have nothing to comment about but a WOW COOL! Haha My favourite is the save on lunch without breaking the budget and saving on Disney trip because I went there not too long ago and I didn't pay much attention to my parents spending. All I know is that daddy want to save his money but want to eat a lot, so he mostly choses buffet with junk food. I don't think I want to go travel with my dad anymore after this. He turns us all into fatties in less than a week with buffets and a salad bar.

Today was a day like everyday but I'm quite happy because we're done with our oral presentation this week. Yesterday was my Spanish presentation and we didn't do well with our video. The introduction and the ending was amazing with all the special effects but our parts in it were bad... My pronunciation in Spanish is bad too... I got 2 out of 5. I suck so bad. @.@" Ah well.. It's already over so might as well be happy about it. We did our English presentation about immigrants today and the teacher was satisfied like usual and we got 96%. Yay!!

The second period was boring as usual, we got math and we did a few exercises. A guy was bothering me because I slept in class. He said : Well don't complain when you don't understand because you didn't listen. Well excuse me, I slept when the teacher doesn't do anything and I understand perfectly well the subject this time and I rarely complain now.

The third period was... Dreadful... It was gym time and we have to do the sprint and stop on a way to pick something up and start sprinting again. I ran 12.5 secondes and I got the silver. It sucks!! I want an excellence or a gold at least and I never succeed. Ah well. After this, we have to run outside. We have to run all around the soccer field three times and I jogged instead of running... Since we have all our time so why not just jog instead? I ran 6:43 min and if I multiply it by 2, I'll be 13:26 min if I keep running this way six times I'll get the gold mark. It's not bad at all but I'm not quite sure if I could keep running for 13 min. Well I need to start running outside from now on starting tomorrow morning if I can... ^.^"

On the fourth period, I received my French written production and I got a 66%. It's better than the 45% at least. But still not good to pass my whole year. I didn't made many mistakes but it's mostly my sentences structures are not very good and my explanations are not very clair. I'll try to improve it before May.


Now on to my challenge money.

Yesterday, I avoid buying food after school because I was hungy. I went home to eat instead. Add 2$ and I walk home from school instead of taking the bus (2$ saved).

Today, I exercise (2$) and I didn't take the bus to go to my friend house to go shopping with her (2$ saved). I'm also adding 1$ for good mark in my English presentation.

I have two orals this week and I'm doing fine though... Don't need to pratice since one is done on video and the other is just explaining to the class about the immigrants.

Today at school, there weren't much to do in school. I received my math mark and I got 48%. I was very upset.

At the second period, my FPS teacher talked about us on films from the 1903 to the present day. It was really interesting and he was talking about a documentary that he has shown to his student last year about the concentration camp, it dated back in the 1955, ten years after the end of WWII. The documentary is called : The night and the fog. It's a very dramatic one and I'm planning to watch it if I have time this week and I hope it's not too horrific like everyone said... I am quite sensible but I felt I should watch it to learn something from it.

At lunch time, I went to see my math teacher after lunch to look at my mistakes on my exam and she made a few mistakes on my test and I finally got 60%. It's not good enought but I pass... at least.

During the 3rd period, teacher said she's almost done with our written production and we will receive it on thursday. We did a few corrections on our documents about different ways to argue for our written production exam on May 3rd. I hope I get good mark on this one...

At the fourth period, teacher asigned us a project that will be due in three weeks. I'm with my guy friend... Hehe we are two winners from the publicity contest (His team got the 1st place and I got the 3rd place). I think if we work hard, we're going to get good marks... Our project now is to compare two countries, one rich and the other one is poor. We chose Sweden and Paraguay. I wanted to compare Switzerland and Paraguay but someone took it. Being an evil person, I said : Naah, they haven't chose their second option, lets take Switzerland anyways. He insists we take Sweden. Hehe... I never thought I would be that mean. >.

I received 20$ back from my cousin today and I exercise today (2$)

Today at work there weren't a lot of customers due to the weather today. We had a snow storm around 6 pm. My coworker and I have 20$ tip money today. Quite unusual for a harsh day but it was still good for us. Also, I learned a lot of things today... There was a customer that was really rude with me. He ordered muffin and coffee, I thought he was going to eat it here so I put it on the table. He said : Hey! I'm taking out. Put it on a bag! I was like : Oh... Okay. I was pissed at the same time because he had no right to be rude with me but I have to suck up. I can't do what I did yesterday.

When he was gone, my coworker told me that the guy that I just served was an ass. I thought so too. He still gives tips anyways. I just learned to not take it personaly, some customers have major problems and we, as worker must always say : The customers are always right. When they are not always right. Anyways... I am here for the money and the food =P. Hehe.

Today I didn't spend any money (1$), I cleaned my clothes (1$) and I got 44$ as tips this week. More than usual (30$ is the usual $ I get). So I'm going to add 14$ to my challenge.

Yesterday at work, there were a couple of high school kids probably in their seven to nine grade making fun at my coworker and me by talking nonesense. They dress like an adult but I could see they are kids just by looking at their face and the way they act. The boys were stupid to start with, they said hi to my coworker like they were friends or something and my coworker was like: Do I know you? And the little boy said : Euh.. No.

When they order, the little boys were like : You know we go to camp right? They gave us like 50 ice capuchinos there. The girls were laughing hard. I answer back saying : What? Ok are you going to order? And they answer back : Yeah yeah.

I tried keeping my patience but it was too much that one of the boy and the girl came back to get wipe cream on their coffee which they didn't ask for it in the first place. The same little boy was pissing me off again saying : Hey, we are friends so I'm going to (I didn't listen to the rest)... I was like : What? He answered back : I want a new one. I decided to ignore him and I said : Suivant (in French). The customers on the back were looking at me like : O.O Well it was the first time I did that but I know I was wrong. But hey, I didn't care if I get fired at first, I just feel like pissing them off by not serving them. In the end, my coworker served them instead.

Worst of all, they only know English and they think full of themselve. I thought it was stupid of them to not learn French too. Since the majority of the population in Quebec speak French. I wish I'll see them on the street or something and punch the little boys face for being an ass to us.

Anyways, a little update on my challenge money. I bought my lunch with me in school (4$), I did not spend any money (1$), I exercise (2$) and on friday, I bought my lunch (4$).

When will I find friends who I can count on...

Like two years ago and last year, I had friends who I could count on to go out and such...

This year, I don't know anyone who's close to me and I feel obliged to hang out with my old friends from three years ago which we have nothing in commun now and new friends in the group who I don't have anything to talk about.

I feel depressed and I can't wait to finish High school in about two months from now. They are not my type of people at all... I wished to go find another group but I don't know who... I think I made a big mistake to hang with people that are upper level but they are better than people from my grade. Sure I have friends in my class but they are only classmate friends to me...

My team mates and I went to buy food because my house has nothing to eat... I spent 10.72$. I should've pay less but a girl forgot to bring her money which I doubt she really forgot. She never pays for anything because she's quite stingy with her money.

I learned from my two team mates that their parents watch their spending really really really closely. MN's (team mate name cut short) dad watch every details of his bank account, he looked at the price he paid, where he bought it and what kind of things (brand,etc) it is. It is scary... Another team mate FK's mom has her paychecks from her work in her bank account and whenever she wants money to buy something, her mom will ask her a thousand questions. They are overprotecting their kids money and I don't think it's a good way to teach them the value of a dollar. I felt lucky that my parents aren't like that with my money... Thank god.. @.@

I need to start my Spanish project with my team but they didn't arrive yet and I have to study math while I can. So today is going to be another busy day. I finished my English oral yesterday with a team mate but I didn't have the time to study math because I was working.

Yesterday, I didn't spend any money so I'm going to add 1$ to my challenge. This week I work three days straight and my tip money is 55$, I usually make 30$ on weekends but since summer is almost here and most of the students are coming out then I'll probably start making 20$ a night. I'm going to put 25$ on my challenge.

I finish my economy homework and all I got left is my revised my math then I'm done but I also got two orals to prepare on Monday and Tuesday... I don't know if I'll fit the math study somewhere this week because my exam is on Wednesday... *sigh*

Anyways, today nothing much happend. I finally contacted my two team mates for my orals and we fix a date for our rendez-vous tomorrow and Tuesday. So yeah... I'm also going to work tomorrow... Working two days straight is already tiring. Ah well no choice if I want to earn more money.

I was at work today and I just remembered that I have two orals next week with my two team mates so I called them and nobody was home. I thought it was strange... I asked my coworker what was so special today and he said : You didn't know? It's hockey night! I was like what? I didn't know my friends watch hockey but... Yeah I guess the hockey fever was today... No wonder I saw some hockey shirts last week at school. Ah well. I'll send them an email tonight.

At the same time, another coworker told me about the girl (from my previous post a long time ago) that she tried to get us in trouble by writting in our schedule that the morning shift stayed for 15 minutes more so it will look like we (the afternoon shifts) are always late. She was frustrated for some unknown reasons. I thought at first that it was funny and childish. I mean what the heck? For her age it doesn't seem right. So yeah, she got caught because another coworker who used to work the afternoon shift told our manager about the situation and she didn't do it again after that. It's still funny though, she's older than me by three years and she acts like that. By the way I heard she studied in Human relation where she solves conflict... I don't think the programme she's studying is right for her, I mean she's always the one starting conflicts with everybody. So yeah, that's why it's funny.

Anyways, yeah it's a weird day today at work and I like it hehe... ^.^"

On the 6th, I did not spend any money (1$), I received 20$ as gift from my aunt because I went shopping with her. I just remembered the dog's expense that I have saved ever since Strawberry is gone (20$).

I'm almost done with my written production this week and we're going to have 15 min more next class. I'm 99.99% sure it's good. I hope to get at least 82% to help me rise my 45% to an average of 60's. I improved a lot these past months. I don't regret going to Enrichi in French, everyone has a weaknest somewhere I've noticed.

I did the fiesta at school yesterday at the two last periods. Actually, I missed the beginning because I chose to attend my math class since exam is coming up next Wednesday. I came just in time for the tasting and the best part of the party, my team mates and I made our food at the last min... The day before the fiesta and my friend was driving me crazy because she keeps worrying for nothing. Our food turned out good. Eum... Noquis Soufle but not sure if we did it right since another friend translate some thing wrong so there's some instructions that we have to guess. There's also other country food and it all comes from a Spanish country. I was so full at the end of the party because I ate so much and it was good too. =P

What else? Oh yeah. This morning, a guy asked me out. I said I'll think about it but it's a no already. I'm not interested and I want to concentrated on my studies.

So yeah that about it lol... I'll update my challenge money later. I'm tired right now.

On the 3rd April, I have a 100% on my sit up test on gym (2$) and I woke up early (2$).

I'm trying to come up with new ways to save money. I've been making progress but it's not enought... And not exciting enought hehe... Well right now I can't really come up with one because I have a written production soon that'll last for a week and an oral presentation for Tuesday with my team mate. Yep... It's going to be a busy busy last two months.

By the way, I didn't spend any money again!! My challenge is so boring hehe... I'll try to come up with something different later on.
