Finally got it !

My boss finally gave me a day of the week to work. Next week, I'm going to work Sunday only from 3 to 11 pm. He got pissed when I ask him for a Saturday instead and to finish till 9 because he has been receiving numerous requests from college and university coworkers to work once a week. Ah well. I don't mind too much but it would be great to reduce it to 6 hours a week so I can sleep and do my homework and not be too tired at my Knowledge in the Ancient world class on Monday.

At least, I can keep my job for now. Although, I would like to not work anymore. I've seen so many teenagers that don't work and they get good grades. Wish I have that much time and a weekend of no school + no work sound great but I want the money. XD I've been working at 8 years old. Although the job my parents gave me when I was little wasn't that much but it would be great to not have to work anymore for awhile and experience life without working again. That day might come but I need to feed my dream of traveling too.

I always found the very part time jobs like that harder in some ways. When you only go in once a week you become disconnected from your co-workers and also from the small ways in which things change at work. So like, maybe they change where they keep the mustard refills and you don't know where to find them. Or, maybe they decide that whoever is present on closing also has to clean the restroom for the next day but last you knew there was a separate service that came in the mornings to do that. But nobody told you, so there you are putting on your coat to leave and the manager asks why you didn't clean the restroom yet, ugh. Now you have no idea where to even find the supplies and you are going to be twenty minutes late to leave. Plus the manager is irked at you for something that is not your fault. Every time you go into work there are new small things like that and you have to take someone else's time to ask about what has happened, as they sure don't remember that no one has already told you. you get pegged as the dumb, worthless outsider. Gosh, I'm really negative, hm?

lol yes very negative. Although, I don't worry too much. I want to focus on my studies at the moment. =)
