I order my second research book and it should arrive this Friday at the school library. I hope so... My first book will probably arrive this Thursday. *sigh* Whatever, I'll just write whatever I know for tomorrow. My class finish at lunch time and I don't know if my activity block is booked with my friend since we promise to work out together every Wednesday although I don't know anymore.
Anyways, today I went searching for my book on every bookshelf that is in Montreal and none carry the book that I'm looking for. I'm so disappointed. There's none available in Quebec!! Arg... I never have this much problems with books before... I guess it's only the beginning of college now. So yeah, I'm going to start writting my essay tomorrow.
By the way, while I was passing by a bookstore, I went to the stores to look at tights to match with my skirt and boots. It was a buy one and get the second 50% off. I didn't intend on buying anything else but I found sandals that I was thinking of buying for summer. It was 19$ and it becomes 7$. In addition with the 50%, it came out as 3.50$. When I got home, the tights were too small. Man I waste 10$!! I'm so furious right now and I don't want to buy another one. I shouldn't have pick the Small one, my legs are longer! *sigh* I'm so pissed.
I went to see if I can match my new sandals with my skirt and it goes pretty well togehter and I can match with my summer clothes. I'm happy about it but now I can't wear my boots with my skirt because I have very pale legs and my upper body is tan. I have no choice but to wear my other black skirt then...

I've been sending mix signals to people. Lately, I've been spending quite a lot on things such as clothes and room stuff. A friend of mine saw my receipts of my recent purchases last week and he was shocked. He said that I'm a spender. Although, he judges me because he doesn't know me. I asked him if I send mix signals about the way I spend, he said yes. LOL... I feel bad though.
To be continued...

I got 0.24$ interest for what exactly? I paid all my bills on time. I think it's the avance in paiement that I have taken out in my bank account... Arg... I paid 1.50$ fee without knowing and I have to 0.24$ more for another fee. Man, it pisses me off... I learned my lesson! ._."
This month, I have spent around a thousand dollars mostly on things related to clothes, textbook, school bag and supplies. I even ask my brother to buy his stuff on my credit card and repay me back. I have the wanting result of getting more airmiles without digging money in my hole but it's awfully a lot lol... Anyways, I have to be careful next time. I should concentrate on putting my money in my challenge account. I'm planning to save 6000$ for my trip to Spain and Morocco. Hopefully, if I save now, I will get to the amount in no time.

I went shopping in a online forum. I was looking for a gift for my friend's birthday that is coming in three weeks and christmas presents.
I came accross a beautiful keychain from Korea and two horoscope cellstraps. I decided to give the keychain to my friend's birthday and one cellstrap to my cousin at christmas who is getting a cellphone soon. I'm going to keep one for my cellphone.
I'm thinking of buying a new cellphone next year because my old one of three years and a half is going to break anytime soon. I am amazed that it hasn't given up on me after so many falls. LOL! And no, I didn't do it on purpose to break it, I always carry a lot of things in my hand and my cellphone is one of those things but unfortunatly, it always fall first because it's so small. Well it has served me well. I'm quite surprise that I kept the same cellphone for three years straight where as my friends change their cellphone every year or two with many cool functions. My special function that I have in my cellphone is a cheap quality camera. =P I don't mind anymore but it's not impressive compare to the other phones.
So yeah, you guys might wonder how much I spend on three things online. I have spent 15$ CAD included shipping. So it's going to 5$ each. I'm planning to spend 400$ as my limit for Christmas present. If I spent lower than this amount, I'm going to put it in my challenge money.

I recently read an article "Could you stop spending for a month?" : http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/SavingandDebt/FindDealsOnline/CouldYouStopSpendingForAMonth.aspx
I want to try this experimente myself next Monday for a week. If I can do it a week then I'm going to try to do it a month... It sounds like mission impossible for me lol...
Today I went to buy some skin and shower products because I ran out recently this week. I also bought a wallet which cost 9.99$ included a necklace that I broke it while trying to open it. 10% of it will go to breast cancer. At first, I thought it was cute but I wasn't sure if I want it. Then, when I look at it more, I like it more. It has the same size as my old one.
I also went to buy travel pocket bag. It costs 9.99$ and there's a 24 months guarantee in it. It's pretty comfortable to put underneath my clothes because the back materiel is really soft.

I notice in my wardrobe that I prefer classic items over trendy items. From now on, I'm going to concentrate on building a classic wardrobe. I have decided to try to put 300$ in my enveloppe for the fall/winter budget for clothes. I need to control my shopping urge and stop buying things that I later regret. I went shopping with friends these days and it made me want to go shop so badly!! >.< I only bought shoes so far today which cost me like 65$. I bought flats to match with my jeans that I bought two weeks ago and boots to wear with my other jeans to fit most of the casuel clothes. A few days ago, I went to a site and I bought two belts and two nice shirts for around 34$ included shipping. God... I hope that I can fix this problem as soon as possible... *sigh*
I think I need to review my budget...

I went shopping for things to match with my prom dress. I found a good push up bra for 35$ but turned out it was 50% off!! I got 17.50$ off (round it up to 18$)!! I'm so happy! I just saved some money.
I didn't really want to buy it at first because it was expensive but luck was by my side and it was on sale this week.
I went to Winners and I found a really nice t-shirt top for 16.99$, I was relucted to buy it because I wasn't sure if it will be worth it and in the end, I was like : I'll wait till I lose weight then I'll think about it. I'm going to put 2$ for avoid buy.
And... I tried the bra with my dress and it looks really nice. I actually have a curvy shape instead of a pear shape. I need to lose weight on the tummy area though, it goes bad with my dress. >.

On Saturday, I went to the library to start on my project and I went to Wal-Mart to buy lotions and pencils, the total was around 25$. The receipt is downstair and I'm too lazy to go downstairt ^.^". I didn't do much that day except working at 3 to 11 pm. The tips were very good on that day too. I got 25.75$ as tip. A first in all that months that I was working there!.
On Sunday, I resisted on buying ice cream (2$), I exercised (2$), I didn't spend anything (1$). My total tips for this weekend is 49$!! So I'm going to add 19$ on my challenge money.
Total save this weekend : 24$
Today, I spent 4.50$ on lunch because there's nothing to eat at home. I walk home from school instead of taking the bus (2$) and I avoid buying food at my workplace on my way home (2$).
Total save today : 4$
Overall : 1400$ ! 2600$ to go...

My team mates and I went to buy food because my house has nothing to eat... I spent 10.72$. I should've pay less but a girl forgot to bring her money which I doubt she really forgot. She never pays for anything because she's quite stingy with her money.
I learned from my two team mates that their parents watch their spending really really really closely. MN's (team mate name cut short) dad watch every details of his bank account, he looked at the price he paid, where he bought it and what kind of things (brand, etc) it is. It is scary... Another team mate FK's mom has her paychecks from her work in her bank account and whenever she wants money to buy something, her mom will ask her a thousand questions. They are overprotecting their kids money and I don't think it's a good way to teach them the value of a dollar. I felt lucky that my parents aren't like that with my money... Thank god.. @.@

I've been spending quite a lot yesterday (38.21$) because I went shopping for my prom dress with my little sister. My biggest purchase that day was the tickets... It was 11.75$ for my metro tickets(I lost my student card so I have to pay regular), 6.25$ for my little sister and 8.60$ for our bus tickets. That makes 26.60$ already.
Luckily, I was at the right place to start. It was on a street full of stores on two sides of the road like a... mall but outdoor. There's many stores full of dresses for prom and wedding, I was so amazed to see so many beautiful dresses but unfortunatly, they were either not my style or too expensive... Can you believe it? A dress for prom cost about 150$!! That's way too much for a dress for one occasion in my opinion and most of these beautiful dress are going to be wore once.
I managed to find a beautiful blue dress with sparkles around it for 90 + tax... So total is 102.56$! I'm happy =D At first, I was a little relucted to buy it because there're girls who already bought it and I don't really like to see someone have the same dress as me in my prom and the sale person doesn't help me much but if ever that happens, I won't get mad hehe... We'll have different accessories to match with our dress right? =P
As for who will pay for my dress, my dad is going to pay for it and I'm going to pay for the rest. I made a deal with him but he doesn't want to spend a dime on my prom night and I sure wouldn't manage it by my own work money since I only have around 100$ a month now... I'm only working 6 hours a week. My dad is really cheap, he promised me three years ago that he'll pay for everything and now, I'm just asking him to pay for a few things and I pay for the rest and he doesn't want to. I hate my dad sometimes... >=/
Anyways, I'm going to try to take a picture of my dress on someone's camera to show you guys, I try loading pictures of my dog Strawberry but for some reasons, dad's camera doesn't accept it. @.@"...

We went to Harvery's to eat lunch and I have three coupons, buy one hamburger and get the second one free. We could have four hamburgers for half of the price and two hot-dogs for the price of one and order a big fries with small drinks for the six of us and we would have save more than 8$. Dad was in a hurry so he didn't take a look at the coupons and order combos with it. I told him that the combo does not included with the coupons and he orders anyways...Thinking that it will work. In the end we waste food especially fries. We spend 33 something on the meal. We could have save more than that!! >.

Today was my last day of having fun...
My friends and I were suppose to go to a Spanish restaurant for lunch called "Etoile du Sud" but they were going to open at 5pm everyday so we walked around to see the different restaurants and we went to a "Peruvienne" restaurant and the food was so cheap!! With 13$, you get a big plate... Unfortunatly, I didn't even eat the half of it... Good thing that I didn't order anything for my sister, she was eating on different plates and my cousins were helping me eat it... One friend in particular only eat 1/8 of it. LOL... This is how big the meal is. So I already spent 17.62$ + 2.65$ (tips) = 20.27$. + (bus tickets) 17.80$ = 38.07$
After lunch, we went to the arcade to play bowling at the second floor and I paid 10$ + 8$ (for two drinks) + 2$ (for my sister) = 20$ spending.
I spent 58.07$ Today. I enjoyed my day but I felt like something is missing in my life... Not a boyfriend but something in me feel incomplete. Maybe I wasn't suppose to go out and have fun. I have something to do at home.
My challenge has gone to 644$! I saved money with coupons, tips and avoid impulse buying. I also quit some bad habits for a little while... Trying to make it permanete. Also, I decided to stop using the computer at home. My dad is annoying me with : Why the computer have problem? Why? Why? It's all your fault that the computer has a virus!! I'm using the library starting now... And I'm using my home when it's something really important.
I'll try to update as often of my savings and such later on next week...

this is my 2006's spending overall :
Food : 824,59$
Clothes : 1192,29$
Entertainement : 174,16$
Bus tickets : 124,75$
Others : 314,71$
Total : 2630,50$
That's a lot of money @.X"... I should definetely cut down on food and clothes. I save a lot on bus tickets since I don't go out often, more like twice a month usually.
I hope that in 2007, I'll cut down on food and clothes mostly. For now I guess it's a good start to track my spending for a year. New expenses will come this year because I recently got a dog (Strawberry)as a gift from my bro' vet friend. Her old master wanted to kill her because of some odd reasons... The dog fur was falling and the master got paranoid. I forgot what kind of dog it is but it's a pure kind, not mix... fascinating. She's six months old and she's very sweet!! She loves playing and everytimes she sees someone, she jumps on that person! It's cute but could get annoying at times. So yeah, I'm ready to cut down on most of my expenses to take care of the dog... But my brother is the one who's responsible for her since he wants her to stay.
I'm in charge of taking her for a walk every morning at 7 am and he's in charge for the 6pm every afternoon.
I volunteer to buy her treats and a basket for her. I'm going to buy them today and my brother buying the rest. I don't know how my brother going to pay for the veterinary visits but it's his expense so I shouldn't care.
Anyways... Today spending is 7.19$ for Tim Hortons, I bought muffins, hot chocolates and cookies for my family and cousins. I bought 8.90$ for six bus tickets and another 10.19$ for internationl stamps. Total spending is 26.28$. O.O"... I have to watch my spending. I need to buy dog treats and a basket so it might add up for today... *sigh* way too much spending these days.
Anyways, later on I'll update my challenge money.

I've been hella busy today. I went to Biodome of Montreal to watch animals with my cousins and my brother and sister. I had a coupon of that place but I forgot another one which both of these tickets could save me 9.75$ from the total purchase of the tickets... Arg... >.< I regret it so badly now. Anyways, I save 6.50$, my sister got in free.
Around 2 pm, we went to a restaurant called Crepe Bretonne, a place we never ever set food there but I wanted to try it out. Another group of friends joined us and we were around 10 in a restaurant. Many of us ordered pancakes. At first, it was good but after a few bites we didn't like it. My little sister enjoyed her meal... Her pancake was made with ice creams and strawberries... It's no surprise that she likes it so much. I used coupon again but this time I have two. We save a total of... 15.50$. Again, my little sister meal was free and so is another of my cousine. Although we saved money, the foods there are pretty expensive.
After lunch, two of my cousins and my brother went out to shop and I went with the rest of the group to the arcade and I paid 5$. I played many many games and also DDR. I had a great times.
At the end of the day, we went to another restaurant, a vietnamese one, this time my aunt payed our meals, then we went home.
I didn't pay anything today, mom gave us 100$ for me for all of us and I managed to save 35$ of it. I'll probably be using it another time... Probably, don't know if mom minds if I keep it. Anyways...so yeah. I didn't spend my money but I spent my mother's. The money she gave me should cover our little trip of the day. .________.". I spent most of the money for me though... I'm so selfish >.

I have to read books and stuff but I'm totally relax now... No more exams anymore.
Today, I went shopping with three friends and I spend around 158$ .______________."... Well now my spending this month has come to 358$. I never knew it will be this high and I have the party to put money on. My friends will pay their part so it should reduce the cost for my bro and I. Anyways... I'll put up the money challenge and such a little later tonight. I need to do some cleaning first.

I spent around 200$ in November and this month will be a lot more... I guess it's the holidays and there are also a lot of inexpected purchases to be made at the last min. I bought my album pictures on the 6th of December for 45$ and so far, it doesn't look so bad. I actually like it after looking at it a hundred times.
Today I spent 5.65$ on food alone but that was when I was in the library. Yesterday, I had a no spend day... Anyways, I'm going to write my challenge money down when I have the time. I need to start on my homework soon.

I spent 4.34$ on food today at work but I saved a lot for drink.... I should save very soon. Ever since I got my tip yesterday, I spent eat a little more food. Eum... I bought a large French Vanilla to keep me awake after my shift because I have to meet with my team mates for the project so I spent 0.90$ and I bought 8.60$ bus tickets.
I spent 13.84$ today. Yikes @.@"!! Anyways, I decided to split my tip money in half, 50% is going in my challenge money and another 50% is my allowance. I spend a little too much this weekend, around 20$ so far >.

I already spent 161.30$ this month with all these outings and foods mostly... I need to stop eating out too much. >.< Maybe it's because I didn't write anything for a awhile that I'm lacking motivation to save. It's less worst than July where I spent 382.74$. Ah well. I have to be motivate again and I'm starting to bring my lunch to school.
My challenge money is going up so far, I have 253$ now.

Today I went with my friend to the "au coeur de la mode" event. It located in the "palais de congres" in Montreal where many designers and boutiques sell their clothes at 50% off the retail price and in season. To get in, we need to donate 5$ and that money is going to the foundation against the aids. I didn't buy any clothes because most are not my style or too expensive because there's designer who sell their clothes at 200$ with the 50% off already. I planned to limit my spending to 100$ but I put an extra 50$ in case... Turned out I spend less than I plan! =)
I bought a teddy bear with a gorgeous tear drop necklace at 12$ (about 13$ off retail price), that money is coming off on my piggy bank (gift) money. I'm going to give my cousin this gift for her 16th birthday in January. I bought a nutcracker fireman for 8$ for my aunt, so that's also coming off my gift money. In total, I spend 20$ for gift and I have 20$ left.
With my 150$, I bought food in Tim Hortons and I paid retail price : 3.99$. I paid 5$ for the entrance. eum... A hat for 10$ to keep me warm in the winter. I bought lunch for my friend and I for 5.50$ including tips... What else. I think that's all. In total, I spent 24.49$ and 125.51$ left!!
Today, I spent 44.49$ !! I think I did a good job by not spending too much. Yay!! I think it is worth it, 25% of the sales will go to the foundation and it's going to help find a way to cure the aids. I wanted to buy the freedom necklace but I didn't want to because I don't need it. Ah well, I can't afford to buy whatever the heck I want. This month budget is not so bad, I enjoy some time with friends and I only spend about 100$ this month... Hopefully, I need to cut back on my eating at school. I don't have a lot of time to buy groceries or make myself to eat. mmm... I'll have to think about it after this week, need to concentrate on school first.
Oh yeah, I put 2$ on my challenge money for yesterday because I woke up early and I went to work on time. hehe... I put another 2$ because I resist on buying a few things that I may later regret later... That makes 216$ !!

My brother is a big spender, as I mentioned earlier in my blogs. He's always finding ways to spend his money. I think he got his paycheck recently and he's selling his baby hamsters to kids for 5$. He makes money for nothing but to spend on useless things. It's a pain looking at him think about things that he should buy. For example : the lightbub in our washing room. He said : We need to change the lightbub, I gotta go buy them soon. I asked him : When it's soon? You don't even have the money because you're always spending your money. There's never any left to buy a lightbub. It makes him think twice before buying something.
Well anyways, I don't feel like writting anything for now... I have to think about my homework now.
I add money in my challenge money and it's now 212$!! Yes, it's growing.
4th November : cleaning 1$
6th Novemeber: 1$/no spend
2$/avoid spend
2$/homework done
7th November: 2$/homework done
1$/good grade

I got my second paycheck today and the boss asked me to work on Sunday's too so I can finish my training a lot faster and I agree with him... But the way he talked to me was weird... Like he thinks I don't understand French that well. Okay, I admit I don't talk much because I'm a shy person but whatever you say, I understand! Don't need to give me a broad explanation about why I should work twice a week, I understand. Geez... Everyone at work think I came from an asian country because of my accent, it's neither Chinese or Quebec accent, it's my own accent god damn it!
Anyways, one of my coworkers who's working after my shift is going back to school soon to become a nurse. Haha, I can't picture him as a nurse but he's funny and sweet. I love his gorgeous blue eyes, everytime I look at it, I start to laugh. Yes weird reaction, I know. I would like to date him but he's 24 and he's not my type of guy. Ah well, he is cute though.
So yeah... I spend 5.17$ for breakfast and lunch there, not bad though. I tried their Timbreakfast saucisage, a bottle of orange juige. For lunch, I ate a chicken wrap with a bottle of punch juice. I was not really full but it was enought to keep me moving through the day.
My money challenge of today is... Wake up early 2$. That makes 202$!!

Today, I went to take the bus with my brother to sign up for a membership card at blockbuster, turned out I need to be 18 years old. I was pissed for wasting my 2$ for nothing and my brother wanted me to go back with him another time. I don't want to go back, not for a long long time, because I don't see the point of wasting 2$ on transportation just to get a membership card there when he can do it by himself.
After blockbuster, my brother wanted to buy an aquarium for his new fish and a couple of things. His total spending is around 40$! I wonder where he got the money... Eum.. From his piggy bank saving. He took my advice to put all his coins in his piggy bank but he end up using them all... Not that he was saving for anything particular but to continue his spending on things that he wants. He even told me after that he should start saving his money... Okay, you just spent 40 something on aquarium, now you have five aquarium at home, a tons of fish... What else? He wants to buy another aquarium for other fishes that he's planning to buy in the future. Now he's broke and he's waiting for his paycheck to arrive next week. I wonder if he'll spend his money again on aquarium.
He asked me advice on helping him to buy carbon thingy for his fish, buy a big bag that cost five times more than the small bag, I gave him my thoughts and I asked him questions such as : Are you going to keep your fishes for a long time or are they only temporary ? If you're planning to keep them for a long time, say more than five years, take the big one, it'll save you hep of money, if you're planning to keep them less than five, then buy the small pack. He chose the small pack.. The reason he asked me this is because he wants me to pratice my financial skill with him since I'm planning to be a financial planner and he needed my help to decide. I told him that a financial planner doesn't help you with your purchases, they help you when you have problem with your money or you're planning to do something in the future, etc.... Geez, brother sure doesn't know the difference... He'll be a perfect psychologie guy but I don't think he'll know the value of the dollar anytime soon. I still love him as he is but he needs help saving his money... He spends too much.

I spend a lot on food alone today. I ate lunch which was suppose to be 3.25$ but I have to have the vegetables as a snack, so that makes 1.15$ = 4.40$... Then I went to the library, I wanted to buy a hot chocolate milk, it pours chocolate milk but there was no cup that goes with it!! Arrg... Then I bought a chocolate bar that cost me 2$, it was gross... Then I bought an orange juice and it`s too concentrated and it costed me 1.75$.
In total I waste 9.15$ on food!! I got into my spending mood today X_X'... I'll bring only 3.25$ to school starting tomorrow. I have to start buying groceries for my lunch after this week end. *sigh* Need to start saving on lunch alone. Not to forget to bring my own snack.

It's going to be the last time for awhile that I'll be online everyday, only once a week. Hehe...
Well there's a music in Spanish that I love and currently, I'm studying the language in my school. His name is Juan and the title of the music is Es por ti. I recommend the song to anyone who loves Spanish songs. =) Too bad I can't upload the songs in a MP3... Because I don't have one... lol... If I had one, I wouldn't be on the computer too much listening to songs and blogging to you guys... =) Maybe I should buy one... Maybe in a few months... But we'll see about it lol.
Also, it's the first day of October!! It's Halloween day soon!! Anyone going to dress up? Me... I don't know hehe. I'd love to, but I don't have a clue what I should dress up, I like the Japanese style of costume but it costs a lot to buy them online and I can't make them since I don't sew.
I hope my challenge money will double the amount now. If I could put myself into doing my stupid homework and stop spending money on lunch (the food is gross), than I can maybe... Double the amount as last month.
What else can I talk about ? Aaah... Yeah Chinese dictation is today at 1pm. Yep, hope I'll do well. Wish me luck guys!!
I guess that's all for now... See you guys on Saturdays! =)

AAAH... I just bought two chocolates bars from a cute kid with her father. They were raising money for the school and each bar cost 2.50$, so I thought to myself : Why not? I can't say no... or they might think I'm rude or something and I couldn't resist helping them. So I bought two bars that cost in total 5$ with my 30$ that I just got back from lending money to a friend, now I got 25$ and I don't even like chocolates that much... I gave them to my little sister and I ate six little chocolates and that's it. What a waste though... Such an unplanned purchase for a good cause.
Did I do the right thing by buying those chocolates?! I don't feel that bad, but when I think about it... Now I have only 25$ left for my challenge money. ._______." I think I'm being cheap.

Today I decided to spend money on eating out because of what had happened yesterday... So I decided to cheer myself up with some food... Bought breakfast at Culture for 5.12$ and I sat near the fontain. I had lunch at a vietnamese place for 3.50$ a few minutes ago.
I spent 8.62$ only on eating out and I don't regret it. I had time to think about life in general and appreciate the beauty around me for a moment.
